I've been actively practicing DBT therapy for over 3 years. This evidence-based treatment utilizes specific skills to address difficult situations and helps people reframe their thoughts for a more positive outcome.
I created this skills deck for folks like me who have already begun their DBT journey but might like a gentle reminder of all the skills they have in their back pocket.
I used my original artwork to help distinguish the different cards.
DBT also uses a diary card system that allows people to track their moods and behaviors. This powerful reflection tool can really help identify difficulties and validate triumphs.
These visualizations are from 5 weeks of data collection. While the categories I was tracking are redacted, the ranking of each category is revealed based on stroke. (10 is the most intense.)
I created another iteration that uses color to describe the intensity of each category.
