I created a two episode podcast series in collaboration with the Prison University Project in San Quentin, CA.
I designed a simple cover image with contrasting yellow and black bars. I wanted to show the positivity of the university project within the context of prison.
"From Snell recording studios, this is Empowerment Behind Bars, a show about education in prison and preparing inmates for meaningful, productive lives post-release.
I’m Catherine Clarke and on today’s show, Jeff Feinman, board member of the Prison University Project discusses California’s only university prison curriculum, located in San Quentin Prison in Marin County California. We’ll dive into the details of this privately funded, volunteer based Associates degree program and the results of education while incarcerated."
